"My parents have a house in Sea Pines Resort near the ocean where we are planning our beach wedding. We are inviting a small list of friends and relatives since the ceremony and reception are in the backyard. My mom is going to decorate the house so I know it will be beautiful and my fiance and I love the comfortable feeling of being in their home. Our guests are staying in some villas at Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes and Shipyard so they all will sort of have their own mini vacation. We have found local vendors on the island for the catering, DJ and limo, and my old roommate is going to be our photographer. We haven’t figured out the honeymoon destination yet but we still have time."

"Our Hilton Head beach wedding went a little different than we could have planned for. We had everything set up at the beach for the ceremony when the wind just seemed to come out of nowhere and blew sand all over everyone. But our wedding planner saved the day since she jumped into backup mode and we moved things up near the volleyball area and that at least kept the sand off of us. Everything else went wonderful including a reception that all our guests said they will remember forever, I know we will...especially our wedding cake from Sheri’s Edible Designs!"
